Thank you for visiting Money Life Lessons.
My name is Kevin and I am an intermediate elementary teacher. The main goal of this site is to educate you “the reader” and provide resources for you to educate others about Canadian finances (specifically Ontario) and money management. Using this information, I hope to enable you and others to make positive life changing decisions around your finances.
A quick rundown of how this site is setup. I have included different headings such as “Investing” and “Consumer Awareness” where I have written blogs about TFSAs, HFSAs, Inflation and other topics. Each heading has different blogs for you to explore. Within these blogs, I also include different strategies that I have personally used that have benefitted me and others that have not.
Hopefully, by learning from my mistakes you can avoid them. I hope that reading these blogs will make you want to ask questions and further explore different financial opportunities available to you. Furthermore, with Financial literacy in schools becoming more common, this site is an excellent resource for that purpose.
You can visit Financial Literacy in Schools to download free resources, based on grade level, to help teach financial literacy. Click on Contact Me if you have specific comments or questions related to financial literacy.
I’ll be updating resources and writing content based on current economic events and money trends that will allow you to take control of your financial future. Make sure to check in frequently for updates or fill in your information below to have updates sent directly to your email.
